In the ranks of the islands, Misool is the largest conservation area around Raja Ampat. In Misool, you can easily meet rays, hawksbill, green turtles, and be immersed in the array of colourful soft corals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The underworld of Misool\u2019s waters is like an Amazon forest of various coral reefs and fish species. There are approximately 400 species of coral, 75 percent of all ornamental fish species, and a variety of mega-fauna\u2014whales, sharks, octopuses, manta rays all living in this majestic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overseas researchers have found that Misool has the most complete collection of marine life, ranging from the micros to the macros and various species of fish. Misool has become one of the best spots for divers, travellers, and visual hunters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In southern Misool, there are several spots for snorkelling and diving such as Panun Island, Gundul Island, Telanjang Island, Wagmap, Farondi, Balbulol and Efna Island. Some of the most popular sites for divers on this island are underwater cave sites busting with rich coral of every shade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the range of magical rock formations found there, the sea is alive with an abundance of fish ranging from large dancing schools of trevally to barracudas, mantas, and sharks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, from the surface of the pier of the eco resort, you can see batfish and young sharks, as well as sweetlips and snipers. The main attraction is the school of jack snaking in rotation as if welcoming the guests. All of these stunning fish swim in the marine kingdom of coral which they call home. It is truly unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are approximately 60 dive sites on Batintim island within the eco resort area, with Fiabacet, Boo, Magic Mountain, Yilliet, Gorgonian, Four King\u2019s, Wedding Cake, Gorgonian Passage, Marsemol, Teluk Kecil, Sixth Sense, Eagles Nest, Kalig Kecil, North Kalig, South Kalig Fiabacet, Whale Rock, and Nudi Rock being just a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img dive sites is increasing and one of the few places that are still explored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The underwater beauty of Misool is what makes it famous all over the world. This beauty is maintained as a result of the healthy and fertile coral reefs. It is a true demonstration of the saying: \u201cNo Coral Life, No Fish.\u201d The coral reefs are home to great underwater biodiversity which is mainly due to it being an ideal habitat for plankton\u2014a major source of food for fish. Should it be destroyed, the fish would instinctively move to other areas. Fortunately, Misool is an underwater paradise where the coral reefs lie like rugs under a forest of sea fans. It has remained as nature intended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Misool\u2018s underwater charm is evidence that love towards nature provides opportunities for other living beings to develop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only does it extend the life of the natural world, but a balanced ecosystem in a healthy ecological system also economically contributes to the local people who pay homage to it. Misool not only leaves a reminder of the wonder of the universe, but also raises one\u2019s expectations of it.
