When?
Actually, you can visit Kaimana anytime. However, it is best to avoid the windy season and large waves. It is recommended to choose the favorable months, usually falling between October and May. During these months, there are usually no big waves and winds, so you can freely enjoy the beach scenery and explore the underwater world of Kaimana.
How?
Currently, the best route to Kaimana is by flying via Jakarta to Kaimana (KNG), West Papua, with a transit in Sorong or Manokwari. Garuda Indonesia has also recently launched flights from Bali to Sorong (direct flights on Fridays and Sundays at 2.30 a.m.). So, if you prefer this airline, you can choose to stay overnight in Sorong or go directly to Kaimana.
